Write an essay that makes a specific argument about how judgment and forgiveness work as themes in the play Fences by August Wilson. What does the text suggest about the nature of judgment and forgiveness? I suggest you think in specific terms like history, race, and/or family, but you can take it in another direction if youd like.
Clear 1-2 paragraph introduction required with a 1-3 sentence thesis statement at the end of it. Analyze two scenes in depth in this essay. One of the scenes must be the last scene of the play. 3 quotes required using in-text MLA citation. Use MLA format and cite from the play to support your ideas. Include a Work Cited at the end of the essay.
