SWOT is an evaluation tool usually used as part of strategic analysis and planning. It is particularly useful because it allows us to compare our organization’s resources and capabilities, or the lack thereof, to both our internal and external environments. Put simply, by using our collective experience and knowledge we can figure out where we shine and where we are lacking.
