It states the importance of your topic from the evidence and reasons that you have discussed in the essay. The conclusion also rewords your claim, so it is clear you are offering a different perspective on the topic. · Academic writing should be more formal, concise, unbiased and include good use of language. This is a skill that you develop throughout your course and beyond. · Critical thinking is what will make your essay stand out. It shows you are engaging with theories in an academic manner.
