To gain a general knowledge of Congress and how it works, I strongly recommend that you read chapter 11 of your textbook before you start working on this report. Third Paragraph (v-vi) = v. Discuss his/her interests and committees he/she serve on; discuss a bill he/she sponsored or supported or opposed (critically discuss the author, date, purpose, benefits for society, cost (in $) associated with the bill). Was the bill passed in both House and Senate? What was the president’s action on the bill? Does the bill reflect your values/interests? Discuss your opinion of the bill and your representative? Did you vote to re-elect your representative on November 6? Discuss why or why not.

Fourth Paragraph = Conclusion – Discuss the lessons you learned from doing this assignment that you will share with other people; why and how will you share this experience?
