Project essay will demonstrate your contribution to the group project, what topic you examined and covered, your work with primary and secondary sources, what arguments you built and supported them by evidences from the sources, quality of analysis and level of understanding. Requirements: Title. 1. Introduction. 1.1. Make clear your research question and how it contributes to the group project, why it is important for creating a whole picture, what perspective you use to examine selected topic. 1.2. What sources you used for this essay and why you selected these sources, what they tell us about this topic and what views they represent. You should use at least THREE sources (for example, one secondary sources (an academic article or a book chapter) and two primary sources (diaries, memoirs, correspondence, interviews, etc). 2. Main body. Write several paragraphs (about 800 words but more is fine), building your main argument(s) and support them by evidences from the sources. You can insert direct quotations from the sources (with references!). Make sure that you have a logical structure, building your argument and avoid repetitions. 3. Conclusion. Look at your introduction where you stated a research question and write a concluding paragraph, what you see after examination of sources, what result of your part in the group project. 4. Bibliography I’m writing an analysis of the Battle of Stalingrad. Please only use the sources down below (pick at least 3 sources, 2 primary and 1 secondary).
