What evidence is there for voter fraud in U.S. elections? You identify different types of possible fraud. How many documented cases are there of each type each election? How does the number of documented cases compare to the total number of votes that are cast? You need to do a lot more to demonstrate that voter fraud (or the threat of voter fraud) is something that I need to worry about (as opposed to just being a mythical bogeyman of American elections).

(One of the frequent claims here is that it undermines confidence in the election results. An interesting finding, though, is that simply talking about voter fraud undermines confidence in election results. Voter confidence declines as opposed to increases when reforms are enacted to combat the threat of voter fraud.) Then, discuss possible reforms: What could be done? What are the likely effects of those reforms? Finally, end with your recommendation: What do you think ought to be done? Why that and not something else?
