Assessment 2: Literature Review You must produce a 3000 word literature review: Your review must be constructed around a central question of your own design which acts as a focus for your work.
Deciding on a focus for your review:- As with writing a literature review for a dissertation; the literature review you must produce for this assignment must be focused in some way around a research question. The topics covered in the lectures represent general topics of discussion within these you should focus in on something specific such as a review focused on a certain country or region. Or focus your review around a particular aspect of the topic for instance policing. Students must provide an indication either via email to (Dr Tim Holmes sos80e@bangor.ac.uk) or during class of what the focus of their literature review will be. Things to include in your review:- The review must include the use of a wide range of academic publications (journal papers, edited texts, research reports etc). A minimum of 8 publications must be critically discussed and an international comparison must be presented.
