INTEGRATION AND REFLECTION
The Doctor of Education program goals include regular self-assessment, self-reflection, and goal setting. It is important to take a moment to reflect on your development as an educational leader and scholar practitioner. The completion of each course in the program is a milestone that provides an opportunity for reflection. At the end of each course, you will be asked to discuss what you have learned. Also, how it applies to your current practice, or you will be asked to set an academic or a professional goal. The expectation is that you will save these self-reflection essays and have a record of your development throughout the program. This is a valuable tool to assist with your professional development in the program; it is also a practice that many educational leaders use to mark their professional and personal development.
