Santa Teresa Mesoamerica Cultures of North America Paper.

A 10 page research paper on an archaeological culture or time

period of your choosing (with instructor approval) related to

North American archaeology is required for this course. You

must submit your intended paper topic in writing to me by

September 13, but I encourage you to do so as early as possible

and to discuss it with me beforehand. You will turn in a publish of

your paper on November 8, which you will be graded on, and I

will return it with comments and corrections. Your publish must

be complete and meet all of the requirements for the final

paper. A MINIMUM of 10 pages of text is required and does not

include a cover page, references, figures, tables, appendices, or

anything else. Papers without 10 pages are incomplete and will

not be graded. Formatting must consist of 12 point font,

double spacing, and one inch margins. A MINIMUM of 20 noninternet sources must be referenced in your research. Books,

monographs, and peer-reviewed professional journals or other

media accessed through JSTOR, EBSCO, or other such sources

available through the library are highly recommended and

preferred. If you are having trouble finding sources, please ask

me for help, I know lots of sources. Papers without 20 noninternet references are incomplete and will not be graded.
